Usage of Fermental Traps for the Study of the Species Diversity of Coleoptera

The possibilities of applying various methods to study Coleoptera give unexpected and original results. studies were carried out with the help fermental crown traps in 2018–2020 on territory eight regions central part European Russia. biodiversity that fall into includes 294 species from 45 families. number attracted fermenting bait is about a third total (this 97.4% all caught specimens). largest have been found belong families Cerambycidae, Elateridae Curculionidae. most actively mainly Nitidulidae Scarabaeidae. these are equally by baits made beer, white red wines. In order identify particular biotope, two-year sufficient, they should be throughout vegetation season. Especially good results can obtained rare such baits. It possible vertical–horizontal distribution fauna individual biotopes.
